Now that we are getting settled into our new home on Longboat Key, we want to take the time to share our thoughts with you about our experience with real estate professional, Debra Pitell-Hauge. From telephone conversations and e-mails, she was quite insightful about detecting our taste and criteria regarding the type of condominium we would like to purchase. Her organized preparation for our meetings, the selection of properties for viewing, and her communication skills were outstanding. Most of all, her professionalism was second to none. She proved to be extremely knowledgeable in the current real estate market on Longboat Key and the Sarasota area. We felt comfortable and confident that she would guide us in the right direction in choosing a new home for our next adventure through life. After a few visits to the west coast, we chose to make an offer on a condominium at the Tangerine Bay Club on Longboat Key. With Debra's negotiation abilities, our offer was accepted. The entire experience proved to be positive and Debra was able to keep our stress level to a minimum, which is often difficult in real estate dealings. It is our pleasure to write this letter to tell you how pleased Doug and I were once again to have Debra Pitell-Hauge as our Realtor during the purchase of our new condominium. We wanted to thank you for the excellent job that you did for us in purchasing our new condo in Osprey. You seem to have an innate ability to zero in on the desires of people and what they want in property. You realized very quickly, that we wanted a quiet location, but with excellent views of the bay or gulf locations. This condo seems to fit our wishes very well and it took only about 3 or 4 days to make our choice. Not only did you show us the real estate possibilities, but also fine restaurants and shopping opportunities available in this area. We made our minds up in those 3 to 4 days to move here to replace our St. Croix house that we have loved for 21 years. Thanks so much for all of your help and expertise!

Because of my husband’s ill health, I decided in January to look for a one-story villa to replace our three- story Siesta Key home. I have many friends who sell real estate, but didn’t want to create bad feelings by choosing one of them over the others. My brother had met Debra Pitell-Hauge at an event in their neighborhood, and suggested I retain her, which I did. In early January, Debra quickly found several villas for me, and I immediately chose one. Under Debra’s guidance, I closed on that one on January 29th. My next step was to sell our house on Siesta Key. I had enjoyed working with Debra, so listed it with her. I wanted to wait to show it until I could get my husband moved into the new villa. Meanwhile, Debra was busy preparing her sales materials, having a terrific video of the house made, and having postcards printed. We moved into our villa on March 19th, and on March 27th, the Michael Saunders caravan viewed the Siesta house. I have bought and sold quite a few homes in my life, but never had to face the complications of this one. There were some problems with the house we didn’t know about until inspection, and also the many stairs (with no elevator) turned off many buyers. The buyer Debra found for me created other problems. However, Debra powered through every complication, even after having been in a serious automobile accident, while keeping me sane and our buyer enthused about the purchase. On Thursday, June 21st, I closed on the sale, with Debra at my side. I don’t usually do testimonials, but my husband and I think Debra Pitell-Hauge is an exceptional Realtor. She is persistent without being pushy, (a trait we detest), very professional and yet warm, and extremely good at what she does. We think your organization is fortunate to have her, and I hope you will forward my comments to Michael.

Debra persevered through two separate listings of the same property, over the past two years, to achieve the proper price for our beautiful condo on the # 1 beach in America. She never discouraged us that we shouldn’t be listing our condo, at the price we were wanting to achieve. To date, the condo’s in the Grand Tower at the PBC has been priced to generate a quick sale. The proof has been, that they sell within a few days of being listed. This sale will finally raise the bar for future sales.When an offer came, Debra worked with the buyer to come to a satisfactory price for both parties.Debra builds a real rapport with the buyer and when an extension for the closing was required, the buyer was very agreeable. Debra handled all details pertaining to the sale which we appreciated immensely as we do not live in the Sarasota area for the summer.We are truly satisfied with Debra’s performance as our real estate agent.We will be recommending Debra to all our friends and acquaintances in the Sarasota Area

We weren’t seriously looking for a house until we were introduced to Debra at a viewing at the Esplanade of Siesta Key. We saw two homes, really liked one, and a day later asked Debra to put in an offer on one of them. A day later, the deal was done and now two weeks later, we own it. This was an excellent process for my wife and I, it was so smooth that we asked Debra to take on the job of selling our current condo in The Landings. She is a very professional Realtor, the process was smooth and as easy as anything that happened so quickly could be. She is an asset to your company. Just a note to let you know of our wonderful experience we had working with Debra Pitell-Hauge. We worked with Debra prior to coming in July over the phone and via email, looked at approximately 15 homes in 3 days on a world-wind trip down here and found the one! Debra was so easy and accommodating to work with, very knowledgeable of the area, what to look for in a home here in Florida and really worked with us within our budget. Her vast experience really shined through! She helped recommend a bank and also MSC Title for the closing. Again, we couldn't be more pleased with Debra and we are loving our new home in Bradenton!
